Established in 2012 through the merger of the University of Pavia’s Department of Political Economy and Quantitative Methods and the Department of Business Research, the Department brings together a long-standing tradition of excellence in economics, business studies, quantitative methods, law, and the social sciences. Its mission is to advance research, teaching, and public engagement while fostering internationalization and collaboration with leading universities and research centres worldwide.
